Does worry (often) lead to avoidance, or are you saying that worry is avoidance in itself? Can’t worry/anxiety also lead to someone trying to problem solve (sometimes, even when they can’t do anything about it, and thus continue to worry)? Wouldn’t the latter be a problem-solving focused coping strategy rather than an avoidance strategy?
